35kWth Pellet Biomass Boiler - Mr.Fearnall, Whitchurch, Shropshire
Mr. Fearnall contacted Eco Generation with a good idea of what he wanted to achieve. He had done his research on the Domestic RHI and wanted us to provide him with a quotation for the works.
Upon understanding his requirements and working with Mr. Fearnall to design a suitable Biomass setup for his property. Mr. Fearnall wanted the boiler to be positioned in the cloakroom which had some space limitations. Therefore we proposed the Austrian made Hapero Biomass Boiler which has one of the smallest footprints for a 35kWth Biomass Boiler.
Our quotation was successful for a number of reasons but mainly for the competitive price, whilst maintaining quality of product.
Mr. Fearnall's Domestic Biomass Boiler will pay off in under 3 years as his property was ideally suited to the Domestic RHI.

45kWth Log Biomass Boiler - Mr.Griffiths, Nantwich, Cheshire
Mr. Griffiths called Eco Generation enquiring to see if there was a way of him utilising his substantial supply of seasoned wood on the farm. The farm business uses very little heat and so the only real heat demand was for the large farm house. Therefore the obvious solution was a domestic log biomass boiler.
Previously the house was being heated with an oil boiler which was costly and exposed to volatile fuel prices. Therefore significant fuel savings were to be had by self-supplying.
Further to this, with the house being so large it had a significant deemed heat demand (determined by the EPC report). This means that it has a sizable Domestic RHI eligibility.
When combining the fuel savings and RHI payments the boiler is expected to pay off in 4-5 years. This is an excellent return when you consider the revenue is exempt from income tax.

45kWth Pellet Biomass Boiler - Mr.Baker, Audlem, Cheshire
Mr. Baker contacted Eco Generation looking for a solution on how to reduce his large house's heating bills. The property is very old and even with the obvious energy efficiency upgrades it is hugely inefficient. Therefore the next step was to alter the way he heated the property.
The house was being heated with an oil boiler which just wasn't up the task and was costly to run when compared with a wood pellet option. Therefore significant fuel savings were to be had.
Further to this, with the house being so large it had a significant deemed heat demand (determined by the EPC report). This means that it has a sizable Domestic RHI allocation.
When combining the fuel savings and RHI payments the boiler is expected to pay off in 2 years.
